Recevity is an ownership tracking service.
It helps you store receipts, identify items you own, track warranties, and generate ownership records.
Recevity is not:
- an expense tracker
- a budgeting or financial planning tool
- a bank or financial advisor
2. Information We Collect
We collect only what's necessary to provide the service.
Information you provide
- Account information (such as email address)
- Receipts, documents, or images you upload
- Item details you add or confirm (product name, model, purchase date, etc.)
- Feedback or support messages you send us
Information generated by the service
- Extracted item data from receipts or labels
- Warranty dates and coverage estimates
- Ownership records and reports you generate
Automatically collected information
- Basic usage data (pages viewed, actions taken)
- Device and browser information
- Log and error data for reliability and security
We do not collect:
- banking credentials
- payment card numbers (handled by our payment provider)
- precise location data
- contact lists or unrelated personal content
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your data to:
- Provide and operate Recevity
- Extract and organize ownership information
- Generate reports you request
- Send service-related communications (such as alerts or confirmations)
- Improve product reliability and usability

We do not use your data to:

4. AI & Automated Processing
Recevity uses automated systems to extract structured information from receipts, labels, and documents.
This processing is used only to:
- identify items
- attach manuals or warranty information
- power features you explicitly use
Your content is not used to train general-purpose AI models.

We do not sell your data.

- Delete your account
If you delete your account, your data is permanently removed, subject to legal or operational retention requirements.
8. Data Retention
We retain your data only while your account is active or as needed to provide the service.
Backups are retained for a limited time for security and recovery purposes, then automatically deleted.
9. Children's Privacy
Recevity is not intended for children under 13.
We do not knowingly collect data from children.
10. International Users
Your data may be processed or stored in jurisdictions different from your own.
We apply the same protections regardless of location.
11. Changes to This Policy
If we make material changes, we'll update this page and adjust the effective date.
We won't quietly change how your data is used without notice.
