How to Find Your Model Number

Not sure where to find your model number? Here's where to look for common appliances:

Washing Machines & Dryers

  • Inside the door frame or on the door edge
  • On the back of the unit near the top
  • Under the lid (top-loaders)

Example: Samsung WF45R6100AW - 'WF' = front-load washer, '45' = capacity in liters

Refrigerators

  • Inside the fridge, on the side wall near the top
  • Behind the crisper drawers at the bottom
  • On the back of the unit

Example: LG LRMVS3006S - 'LR' = refrigerator, 'M' = model series, 'VS' = features

Dishwashers

  • On the door frame (visible when door is open)
  • On the left or right side of the door opening
  • On the top edge of the door

Example: Bosch SHPM88Z75N - 'SHP' = dishwasher series, 'M88' = model level

TVs & Electronics

  • On the back of the TV near the ports
  • On the original box or packaging
  • In the TV settings menu (usually Settings > About)

Example: Sony XR-65A80K - 'XR' = processor type, '65' = screen size, 'A80K' = series

Small Appliances

  • On the bottom of the unit
  • On a sticker near the power cord
  • On the back or underside of the base

Example: KitchenAid KSM150PSER - 'KSM' = stand mixer, '150' = model series
